BabyCam Overlay
The short version: BabyCam Overlay collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no ads, no server of ours in the loop at all. Your camera's video goes from your camera to your TV box over your own local network — full stop.
BabyCam Overlay is an Android TV app. You give it the network address of a camera you already own — typically an RTSP-capable IP camera or NVR — and it draws that camera's live video in a small window that floats on top of whatever else is on the TV.
That's the entire feature set. There is no cloud service behind this app, no companion account, and no way for the app to work without a camera already present on your own network.
None. Specifically:
The camera URL and login you enter are saved only in the app's private storage on your own TV box, using Android's standard app-preferences mechanism. That data never leaves the device, except in the one place it's meant to go: directly to your camera, over your local network, to fetch the video stream you asked for.
Note that this app does not use your TV box's own camera or microphone — it plays a video stream from a separate network camera that you configure yourself.
BabyCam Overlay is a tool used by a parent or caregiver, not an app aimed at or interacted with by children. It is not directed at children, and it doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, child or adult, because it doesn't collect information at all.
Since everything is stored only on your own device, deleting it is entirely in your hands: clearing the app's storage or uninstalling BabyCam Overlay from your TV box removes the saved camera list and settings completely. There is nothing stored anywhere else to delete.
